Score where you stand before you commit any budget

8 free, scored self-diagnostics, adapted for Praxora Lab from the practice tools Terence Kok built for his own clients. Each takes minutes, each scores instantly, and none asks for an email address.

01 / 04 Readiness & Strategy

Start here if you don't yet know where you stand.

These two tools score your organisation before you commit any budget. Both were built by Praxora Lab facilitator Terence Kok, drawing on the same five-dimension readiness framework he has run in his own practice for years.

Neither asks for an email address. Answer, get a scored result, and see where to go next, whether that's fixing a specific gap yourself or bringing it into a workshop.

02 / 04 Planning & Value

Decide what to do first, and what it would be worth.

Every course in the catalogue ends with a roadmap sequenced by impact and reversibility, and a business case someone will actually fund. These two tools are the instruments behind those outputs, made available before the room rather than only inside it.

The prioritisation matrix keeps business merit and autonomy clearance apart on purpose: a use case can top the list and still clear only for reporting, which is precisely the case a vendor pitch tends to blur. The calculator surfaces its automation and running-cost assumptions as inputs rather than constants, because those are the two figures a finance director challenges first.

Both are adapted from Terence Kok's practice tools. Neither asks for an email address.

03 / 04 Governance & Assurance

The checks a board, an auditor or a regulator will actually ask for.

The tools above score whether an organisation is ready to start. These three test whether what has already been built would survive being inspected: by a certification body, by your own board, or by anyone asking why an autonomous system was allowed to act unsupervised.

All three are ported from Terence Kok's own practice tools with their wording unchanged, because a check that has been loosely reworded is a different question and would not give a comparable answer twice. He is a BSI-certified ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Auditor and leads both the Governance & Assurance consulting track and the AI Governance & Board Readiness course these feed into.

None asks for an email address, and nothing you enter leaves your browser.

04 / 04 Leadership Fit

Score the leader, separately from the organisation.

Everything above scores the organisation, the work or the systems. This one scores the person leading the AI mandate. It was built by Praxora Lab facilitator Terence Kok, drawing on the same five-dimension CAIO framework he has developed and used in his own practice.

It doesn't ask for an email address either. Answer honestly, get a scored archetype, and see which dimension is worth developing first, with certifications matched to your specific gap.

Before you go

I insisted on the no-email condition, over some internal objection, because a lead-generation form dressed up as a diagnostic is a small dishonesty I did not want attached to a practice with my name on it. These tools score you honestly and tell you where the gap sits, whether or not you ever speak to us afterward. That is closer to how I think a genuine assessment should behave, in a classroom or a boardroom. If the result tells you your organisation is not ready, believe it before you believe anything a vendor tells you next.
